Beautiful ‘super practical and light’ high chair is ‘must-have’ for parents

Parents are raving about a ‘must-have’ high chair that is not only practical and can be used from the moment your baby is born until they are school-ready, but it’s lightweight and ‘beautiful’ in its design.

The Bugaboo Giraffe chair comes in a variety of gorgeous neutral colours from white to warm wood and grey and costs £219. Weighing just 5kg, the high chair is portable and lightweight and can hold up to 100kg, making it safe and sturdy. Plus, it’s easy to clean.

Alongside this, the chair is quick to adjust with the footrest and seat being easily moved and can be used in conjunction with additional ‘snap-on accessories’, such as the newborn bed (up to 6months of age) and the baby seat set (from 6 to 36 months).

It’s important to note that these additional accessories are an additional cost but can be purchased as part of a bundle, for example the Bugaboo Giraffe Complete High Chair Bundle, which includes the chair, a tray, seat and pillow, here.

Crafted with FSC®-certified European natural beechwood, the chair is built to last is, for the eco-conscious parents out there, has a 33% lower CO2 footprint, in comparison with fossil-based materials.

The reviews speak for themselves as the product has received a 4.7 star rating with glistening complements across the board from happy parents, one of which stated: “Beautiful, practical and light high chair. Beautiful and modern design. I love it!”

Another shared: “Great chair to keep your little one with you while you eat. The rocker [add on] is super practical. I don’t regret the purchase for a second. A must-have and highly recommended.”

“The perfect chair exists,” remarked one parent who commented: “It’s very well built and very stylish regardless which colour you bought, it will definitely fit your interior. It’s very easy to use since everything is adjustable literally with a click of a button. Not to mention that the installation was also super easy.”

A fourth ‘surprised’ customer added how “it’s much lighter than other comparable high-end chairs, more versatile, easier to use and looks fantastic. It’s surprisingly sturdy and stable, super easy to clean.”

While most parents were enamoured with the practical design, one customer returned the product as “our son did not like to be seated on the newborn set (not deep enough I think)”. That being said they added: “But we were super happy with the design, lightweight and practicability of it.”

While this high chair has all the bells and whistles – especially with the add-ons – if you’re after something slightly more affordable and simple, John Lewis’ ANYDAY Happy Houses Highchair is £35 and “provides all the functionality”. Alternatively, this Kinderkraft Sienna 2-in-1 Highchair is £59 and comes with a five point harness, footrest, removable tray and has non-slip chair legs.

If you’re sold on the Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair for its beautiful design and practicality, get it here.
