There’s nothing better than a cheeky drink before you board your flight.
While us Brits don’t seem to care the time whether it is that short 6am flight to Dublin we have to have that beer.
It has become like a tradition to get you into the holiday mood, right?
If you’re like us and want to pass the time in an airport then you might want to make note of the UK airports that are serving the cheapest pints.
This is according to Velloy’s Airport Price and Prosecco Index which looked at the UK’s 15 busiest airports to find the average cost of a beer.

Research worked out the average cost of a beer in all of its pubs, bars and restaurants at each airport to determine the results.
They found the UK’s cheapest beer was actually in Scotland. So if you’re after a pre-flight beer then Glasgow International Airport may be worth stopping off for with the average beer coming in at £6.06.
Ok, ok we know it isn’t that cheap but airports and airport lounges do seem to be pricier than the average UK pub.
The next cheapest could be found in Manchester Airport with the average pint coming in at slightly more at £6.38.
Meanwhile, scoring bronze was East Midlands International, in Leicestershire, where you can grab yourself a drink for £6.44.

The study also found the cheapest airport to grab a glass of prosecco if beer isn’t your thing. They found East Midlands came out on top with on average a glass costing £8.33.
At the other end of the scale, it may come as no surprise that a glass of bubbles would set you back a staggering £14.99 at London Stansted where you can find the Bottega Prosecco Bar.
