Netflix star Sara Burack, best known as a luxury real estate agent who appeared on “Million Dollar Beach House,” has died at age 40 in a hit-and-run in Hamptons Bay.
Burack was discovered lying unconscious on the side of the road in the middle of the night on Thursday. Responding officers found her with serious injuries from being hit by a car. She was immediately rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Police said they’re still on a hunt for the driver, who fled the scene, as well as for information on the vehicle involved. Authorities have asked the public to come forward with any leads that can help identify the suspect.

Burack lived in Southampton and was a successful broker and real estate agent in the area.
“My family has a commercial construction material sales business that I spent many years of my life working for,” Burack told Hamptons.com in 2020. “I have always been intrigued by real estate projects and decided to become a broker after my experience as a summer property manager in the summer house I would rent.”
She continued, “I have been spending half the year in the Hamptons for the past 11 years. It was only natural to turn my love for real estate into a blossoming career.”
Burack starred on reality series “Million Dollar Beach House” in 2020. The show followed realtors as they competed to sell luxury homes in the Hamptons.
She is survived by her parents, sister and brother-in-law.
