‘My most-worn earrings are from Kate Middleton’s favourite brand’

I’m a fashion writer and have built up quite a large collection of jewellery over the years from necklaces to rings and everything in between. I often switch up the accessories I wear, but there is one particular pair of earrings that I’ve worn everyday for years – my Monica Vinader Siren Muse Mini Huggie Earrings.

These were gifted to me for my birthday and since then they’ve grown to be my go-to daily hoops. The £50 earrings come in sterling silver, 18k rose gold vermeil, and I have the 18k gold vermeil version.

Worn through all seasons, weather, holidays and more, these trusty hoops haven’t tarnished and are still just as shiny as the day I got them. I don’t have to take them off when showering or swimming as I’ve found them to be water-resistant.

British jewellery brand Monica Vinader are well-known for their affordable luxe pieces and Kate Middleton is even a fan. She owns several accessories from them, including their Siren Wire Earrings in 18k gold vermeil and green onyx, as well as the Nura Pearl Necklace.

Kate’s Siren earrings and Nura necklace will both set you back £128, however, my Siren Muse earrings are a steal at £50 for such high quality. They can be stacked with other earrings or worn alone and the dainty design pairs well with all outfits.

I’m not the only person who is a fan of the Monica Vinader jewellery. One customer left a review writing: “Such a beautiful, classy, comfy everyday hoop, which I never need to take out to sleep. Would highly recommend, particularly for the price.”

Someone else said: “These are lovely earrings. Small and elegant looking, they are lovely for every day wear. The ‘locking mechanism’ is easy enough to use once in, and gives a nice, fully closed shape. They flattering, simple, lightweight and are of a well made quality. I would reommend.”

They are a little fiddly to take on and off, but after several attempts it shouldn’t take long to get the hang of it. A reviewer agreed with this statement, sharing: “These are a lovely pair of delicate hoops and are brilliant for everyday and to dress up. It takes a little getting used to the clasp and they are a little smaller than the pictures can suggest but they are absolutely lovely nonetheless. I will definitely be treating myself to some more earrings from Monica Vinader.”

You can get the Siren Muse Mini Huggie Earrings from Monica Vinader here, or for an alternative, Astrid & Miyu’s Essential 6.5mm Hoops in gold are £70. If you want to add a little sparkle to your gold earrings, the Gold Plated CZ Stone Huggie Hoop Earrings from Marks and Spencer are £22.50.
