Asda shoppers rave about flattering £20 dress that ‘looks vintage’

George at Asda has long been a go-to for budget-conscious fashionistas, offering everything from womenswear to menswear, childrenswear, accessories, and more, all at prices that won’t break the bank.

The George Green Ditsy Floral Midi Tea Dress is priced at £20 and comes in sizes 8 to 24. Unfortunately, due to its popularity, it is currently sold out online but shoppers can still find it at their local Asda store.

The dress features a v-neck cut, three-quarter sleeves with elasticated cuffs, and is adorned with a charming ditsy floral pattern.

The Green Floral Shirred Midi Dress, retailing for just £18, is a great alternative. Featuring a square neckline and half sleeves with elastic cuff, it has a very similar vintage green floral pattern.

On the George website, the Ditsy Floral Midi Tea Dress boasts an impressive average rating of 4.8 out of five stars.

One satisfied customer left a glowing five-star review, stating: “Very pretty, love this dress, it’s the first one I can say looks better on me than in the photo.

“Lovely long length and the little gathers on the shoulders are very flattering and stylish,” reports the Liverpool Echo.

They continued: “The colours are fresh and soft, not garish, would complement any skin tone. Looks much more expensive than it is, fantastic price. Would recommend – try it on, you will be amazed.”

Another shopper remarked: “Fab dress! Very pretty, nice material and fits perfect. Love the vintage look. Also good value.”

A third chimed in with praise, saying: “Really love this dress, just what I was looking for.”

“An easy wear pretty dress that’s long enough but not too long so pretty sandals will show. Sleeves are full and just the right length for me”.
