M&S cord trousers hailed as ‘flattering’ – less than £40

Marks and Spencer is selling the perfect pair of trousers to keep you feeling snug while also looking stylish this autumn. The cotton-rich Cord Wide Leg Trousers have added stretch for ultimate comfort and are a flattering high-waisted design.

The wide leg trousers have a button and zip fastening, convenient belt loops and five handy pockets. They cost £39.50 and come in sizes six to 24 and three lengths – short/petite, regular and long.

The M&S trousers are available in several autumnal colours, including copper tan, bitter chocolate and dark claret. Some of the sizes and lengths have already sold out in various colours, proving their popularity with shoppers.

The Cord Wide Leg Trousers are part of the M&S Collection which comprises easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles. The trousers are sure to look fabulous with cosy jumpers, snug cardigans, knitted vests, and long-sleeve tops, offering plenty of variety to see you through the autumn and winter.

Over 78 M&S customers have reviewed the trousers so far, with them earning an impressive overall rating of 4.8 out of five. One delighted buyer awarded them full marks and said: “On trend, well made and they fit well, as they’re flattering in style.”

A second wrote: “I really like these trousers. They are comfortable, the fit is true to size and they are not too long which is always a plus. The colour is nice and perfect for autumn.”

Some shoppers are so impressed with the trousers they’re buying them in multiple colours. One person commented: “These trousers are great, sizing accurate, length spot on and so comfortable to wear. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in a different colour.”

Another added: “Fantastic cord trousers. These are so comfortable I don’t want to take them off. I ordered two pairs and will be ordering a third.”

Unfortunately, one customer who ordered two pairs of the cord trousers wasn’t impressed with one of them. They explained: “I ordered both black and blue trousers in this style but only kept the black pair as the blue cord material felt limp and shapeless.”
